Consultant Visits

The Youth Ministry Office staff visits parishes and meets with parish youth ministry leadership for the purpose of consultation, evaluation, and strategizing the development of the parish's youth ministry.

Staff members are available to:
- Assist with program evaluation
- Provide ministry resource options
- Aid ministry teams to promote comprehensive youth ministry

Parish Information Session

The Parish Information Session is the first step in a parish's development of its youth ministry. The purpose of the session is to give the pastor and those persons who assist him in parish leadership the information necessary for the parish to make decisions regarding developing its own youth ministry.

The session lasts 60 - 90 minutes, and covers topics such as the definition of youth ministry, principles of effective parish youth ministry, and using youth ministry to meet the needs of young people.

In-Servicing

The Youth Ministry Office provides specialized, parish-specific training for parish youth ministry leadership. Some topics include:
- Introduction to Program Development
- Parish Ministry Assessment Surveys
- Discovering the Qualities of Christian Leaders

Staff members will visit your parish to conduct an In-Service and are able to develop sessions specific to your parish youth ministry.

We welcome you to view and review specific resources before purchasing them for your parish youth ministry.

Visit us at the Youth Ministry Office during office hours to view our resources. Also, you can view resources at our Youth Ministry booth at certain events.

The Youth Ministry Office provides an opportunity for coordinators to learn more about our events and training opportunities, network, address current youth ministry issues, evaluate programming, and promote their events.

Meeting locations to be announced, all meetings are from 7pm - 9pm.

The Youth Ministry Office offers three retreats a year for youth ministry coordinators, core team members, and ministry leaders. The Advent and Lenten Retreats are offered in conjunction with the Office of Religious Education.

NET and REACH teams consist of Catholic young adults who dedicate a portion of their lives to sharing with other Catholic young people the challenge of Christian conversion through growth in knowledge and living out their Catholic faith. These teams provide an exciting and dynamic presentation and experience in which they share their faith journey.

Both NET and REACH have their own prepared programs; they are also flexible in meeting particular needs and responses.

Both NET and REACH can provide parishes and schools with:
- Youth Retreats
- Confirmation Retreats
- Family Retreats
